Mr Logic: Ban ‘senseless’ songs on the airwaves

Mr. Logic is President of the Songwriters Association of Ghana President of the Songwriters Association of Ghana, Emmanuel Barnes popularly known as Mr Logic, says some of the songs released lately do not make sense at all and should be banned from the airwaves. He made this call when he spoke with Graphic Showbiz about the impact some of the songs being churned out in recent times are having on the youth. Shatta Wale Full Biography

Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah better known by his stage name Shatta Wale, is a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician. The self-acclaimed dancehall act, Shatta was born on the 17 October 1984 to Charles Mensah Snr. and Elsie Evelyn Avemegah . Besides singing, the ‘GRINGO’ hit-maker is also a renowned Songwriter, Record Producer and Sound Engineer . In 2014 edition of Ghana music awards, Shatta Wale emerged as the artiste of the year. He mastered his art within few years and he also traveled to Jamaica to learn more about dancehall. He starred in the movie “Never Say Never” featuring Charles Kofi Bucknor, Edward Kufuor and Paulina Oduro .
